COPD, Smoker’s Cough or Smoker’s Asthma

We are currently conducting several clinical trials for an investigational medication for people with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) or smoker’s cough.

You may be eligible to take part in this research study if you:

  • Are 40 years of age or older
  • Currently smoke or have smoked in the past
  • Experience shortness of breath

The studies involve 10-20 visits over 6 to 13 months. The study doctor will help determine which study is best for you. Study participants who qualify will receive blood and urine laboratory tests, breathing tests, EKGs, study related medical care, as well as study medication. Your first appointment will last about 2 hours. You will receive up to $825 to $2,234 depending on the study you participate in. If you are unable to complete the entire study, you will be reimbursed for the visits you actually complete.
